Our Story
How a 5,000 sq ft room full of slides became the place families keep coming back to.
Playing is an integral part of a child’s mental and sensory development. The early years of a child’s life is the most critical whereby children develop confidence to play and share with others.
5,000+parties hostedAn “edutainment” destination
Cheeky Monkeys is an “edutainment” recreation center & kids’ celebration destination from ages 10 months to 14 years old. It provides an unparalleled arena for daily social and educational interactions focused on children and their families making positive memories together!
Cheeky Monkeys is a unique concept where children come together to Play, Learn & Celebrate.
In guidelines produced last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics advised parents to limit screen time to one to two hours a day for children between the ages of two and five years. New research suggests these recommendations aren’t producing the desired psychological benefits, and that the AAP’s recommendations are unreasonably strict. But given how much we still do not know about the effects of excessive screen use on young children, there’s still reason for concern.
We believe a place like Cheeky Monkeys is crucial for parents to be able to control the amount of screen time.

Why play matters
Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.
Play allows children to create and explore a world they can master, conquering their fears while practicing adult roles, sometimes in conjunction with other children or adult caregivers. As they master their world, play helps children develop new competencies that lead to enhanced confidence and the resiliency they will need to face future challenges.
Undirected play allows children to learn how to work in groups, to share, to negotiate, to resolve conflicts, and to learn self-advocacy skills. When play is allowed to be child driven, children practice decision-making skills, move at their own pace, discover their own areas of interest.
The ideal situation
Cheeky Monkeys provides the ideal situation for kids to come together, play, socialize and develop their skill sets.
A café in the middle
The café is uniquely placed in the center of our play area so parents can see their children as they play and move around the facility.
